I am a born and bred Derbyshire girl. I grew up and went to school in Wirksworth and now settled in Starkholmes. I have played cricket and hockey at club level and the former to International U21 level as well as being a county cricketer for over 15 years.

I have been a Sports Massage Therapist for over 10 years. I studied Sports Coaching and Sports Massage and Exercise Therapies at the University of Derby, Buxton. Alongside my degree, I completed my Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist VTCT qualification. During this time, I was fortunate to complete a placement working alongside the lead physiotherapist at Derbyshire County Cricket Club. This was a great experience and one that I won't forget. I was asked to be the Sports Massage Therapist for travelling International teams such as South Africa, Bangladesh and Australia U21's. After this, I worked as a private therapist in Derby for a year. 

Since then I have gained experience of working with a variety of individuals with a variety of needs. 

I have currently qualified as a Level 4 Active IQ Sports Massage Therapist, alongside this I am trained in dry cupping and dry needling. 

I really enjoy being able to get people back on their feet and it does not matter if you play sport or not. A massage is a great tool to keeping your body on the right track.
